路易·安托万·德·布干维尔

路易·安托万·德·布干维尔（，，）是一位法国海軍上將、探险家，与詹姆斯·库克处于同一时代。他参与了对抗英国的法国印第安战争。之后，他以前往福克兰群岛的探险和进入太平洋的旅行而知名。巴布亚新几内亚的布干维尔岛由他而得名。簕杜鹃的学名“”亦以他的名字而得名。1763年布干维尔完成環繞地球的航行，聲名因而為人所知。
