約翰·可馬洛夫

約翰·可馬洛夫 （John L. Comaroff，） 是哈佛大學的人類學與社會學史威夫特（Harold H. Swift）傑出貢獻教授，他也是美國法律基金會（American Bar Foundation）的研究教授。

生平
1945年生於開普敦，1968年毕业于開普敦大學，之后他與妻子離開南非前往英國，在1973年獲得倫敦政經學院博士。他的田野研究焦點是非洲南部的札那人。在他的研究當中，有的是獨立研究，有的是跟妻子珍·可馬洛夫協同完成，珍也是芝加哥大學的傑出貢獻教授。他的研究興趣包括基督教、巫術、政治文化、殖民主義、意識史、政治人類學、歷史人類學、法律、後殖民主義、當代性與社會理論。
