珍妮特·温特森

珍妮特·温特森，CBE（，），是英国作家。

早年生活
温特森出生于英格兰曼彻斯特。在兰开夏郡的阿克寧頓长大，她打算成为一名五旬节运动的基督教传教士，她6岁就开始传福音和布道。

16岁的温特森已经确定自己是女同性恋并离开家。不久后她来到阿克林顿与罗戴尔学院学习，靠打零工维持生计，并且考入了牛津大学圣凯瑟琳学院学习英语。

个人生活
2002年，温特森结束了她与BBC广播电台的Peggy Reynolds12年的伴侣关系。后来她曾与戏剧导演和治疗师有过恋情。她的小说《激情》（）灵感来自于她与她的文稿代理人的绯闻。2015年，她与心理治疗师结婚。
