德尼·狄德罗

德尼·狄德罗（，）是法国启蒙思想家、唯物主义哲学家、文学家、美学家和翻译家，百科全书派的代表人物。他的最大成就是以二十年之功主編《百科全书，或科学、艺术和工艺详解词典》（通称《百科全书》）。此书是18世纪启蒙运动的最高成就之一。

生平
狄德罗出生于法国朗格勒，父亲是一个刀匠。从小接受基督教教育，但没有接受舅父的神甫职务，1729年进入巴黎大学学习，并于1732年获得文学学士学位。在此期间，他半工半读学习，给牧师写讲道词赚钱维生。
