僧伽羅文是在斯里蘭卡用來書寫官方語言僧伽羅語并有時用來書寫書面語言巴利語和梵語的一種元音附標文字。作為婆羅米系文字的一員，僧伽羅文可以追溯祖先到2000多年前。
字母表

多數僧伽羅字母是花體的；在字母表中幾乎完全缺少直線。這是因為僧伽羅文传统上寫在棕榈叶上，書寫直線會使葉脈破裂，因此偏好圓形。本節的表格中深色的背景的格子表示该字母为擴展字母。

僧伽羅文有表示數字的特殊符號，一直使用到了19世紀初。現在被阿拉伯數字取代。以前用作為表示完全停頓的標點符號。現在一般不再使用。
Unicode编码
僧伽罗文在Unicode 3.0及以后的版本获得支援，在U+0D80至U+0DFF的位置。
