大衛·朱維特

大衛·C·朱維特（，），生於英國的美國天文學家。他曾在夏威夷大學天文研究所擔任教授，現任教於洛杉磯加利福尼亞大學。

經歷
朱維特於1958年生於英國倫敦。於1979年獲得倫敦大學學院學士學位，之後分別於1980和1983年獲得加州理工學院天文學碩士和博士學位。他的研究興趣包含柯伊伯带、太陽系形成、彗星物理性質等。他和天文學家劉麗杏一起於1992年發現了繼冥王星與查龍之後（當時冥王星仍被視為行星）首個海王星外天體1992 QB1。另外他和斯科特·謝帕德一起發現了多顆外行星的衛星。
