凤仙花属（学名：）为杜鹃花目凤仙花科中的一属，为本科最大的属，约有900余种，分布于旧大陆热带、亚热带山区和非洲，少数种类也产于亚洲和欧洲温带及北美洲。本属植物茎通常肉质，多汁，花下面4枚侧生的花瓣成对合生成翼瓣；果实为多少肉质弹裂的蒴果。果实成熟时种子从裂爿中弹出。通常分部于降水量大或湿度大的森林中，林缘、山谷阴处、河岸、溪流和湖边湿洼地生长，是构成林下植被的重要成分之一。本属选模式种为水金凤。
属名Impatiens源于拉丁语impatien，意为“急躁的”，指本属植物果实成熟后一触就裂。
