威廉·德西特（，）是一位荷蘭數學家、物理學家和天文學家。
生平與其研究
德西特生於荷蘭弗里斯兰省斯內克。他就讀於格罗宁根大学，之後進入格罗宁根的天文實驗室任職。之後曾於1897年到1899年之間任職於南非的好望角天文台。1908年他成為莱顿大学天文系主任，1919年起直到他去世他都是莱顿天文台台長。
德西特的主要貢獻在於物理宇宙学。他和阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦於1932年共同發表論文，聲稱宇宙可能有大量不發光的物質，就是今日所說的暗物質。他還提出了愛因斯坦廣義相對論的解，即德西特宇宙和德西特空間，其中並無物質和正值宇宙學常數。這個結果是空宇宙的大幅擴張。德西特也以研究木星聞名。
後代
他的兒子艾爾諾·德西特（Aernout de Sitter）是印尼冷邦博斯查天文台台長，並在當地研究M4球狀星團。1944年去世。
