- 2009年6月18日，前昆士柏流浪}-領隊保罗·索萨（Paulo Sousa）已口頭應允執掌球隊，簽約效力三年。
- 2009年6月23日，保罗·索萨正式接任領隊。
- 2009年8月25日英格蘭聯賽盃第二圈主場1-1，加時後1-2負於斯肯索普}-，比賽中有入球者受傷離場，更先後再有三名球員被罰紅牌離場，完場前伊德里扎受傷亦需苦撐到完場，以免球賽不足法定人數而腰斬。
