靜止環境觀測衛星

静止環境観測衛星（）計劃，是由美国国家海洋和大气管理局經營的衛星，用作天氣預報、强烈風暴跟踪和氣象學研究。航天器和地面的儀器的系統一起工作以提供一個連續的環境數據。

该系統使用地球同步衛星，自1974年發射的SMS-1，一直是美國的基本天氣監測及預報儀器。
