盲聾，通稱視聽障，指同時失明（或弱視）和失聰（或弱聽），盲聾者對環境的理解與只是失明或失聰的人截然不同。

溝通
盲聾者的溝通方法視乎他們的健康狀況、變成盲聾的年齡和得到的資源而異。一個在較遲時間失明的聾人會比較依賴手語，而一個在較遲時間失聰的盲人會使用說話或文字。溝通方法包括︰
*利用僅有的聽力（如對話要特別清楚、使用聽覺輔助儀器）或視力（如在較小的視力範圍內利用手勢、使用較大字體）
*觸感手語（Tactile signing）
*手語翻譯
多感官方法能提升盲聾者溝通技巧，這些方法能應用在發展遲緩的幼童、有學習困難的小童或老人痴呆症患者。
