伊斯梅尔·莫香特

伊斯梅爾·莫爾昌特（Ismail Merchant，），出生于印度孟買，是一名在電影界享有盛名的監製兼導演。与導演詹姆士·艾佛利及編劇露絲·鮑爾·賈華拉合作無數次，更與艾佛利創辦了墨臣·艾禾里電影製作公司（Merchant Ivory Productions）。該公司善於用唯美手法把描述二十世紀初英國的小說搬上銀幕，更拿下了總共六座奧斯卡金像獎；三人亦因此被譽為「三頭神」（有趣的是，他們沒有一個是土生土長的英國人）。莫香特制作电影29部，其中包括《霍华德庄园》、《看得见风景的房间》、《告别有情天》等佳作，而2004年与中國合作的影片《異國情緣》成了莫香特的遺作。

莫香特與艾佛利兩人合作共44年，不但是工作上的夥伴，更是終生伴侶。

伊斯梅尔还是位美食家，开有一家飯店，并著有多本烹饪杂志。
