派尤特人

派尤特人（）为中三個不相鄰的的北美原住民群體，語言屬於猶他-阿茲特克語系中的，但這三種語言並不構成一個單一的語族 。

「派尤特人」一詞並非指大盆地地區某個單一的、獨特的、統一的部落群體，而是一個歷史名稱，涵蓋了以下群體：

*加州東北部、內華達州西北部、俄勒岡州東部和愛達荷州南部的
*亞利桑那州北部、內華達州南部和猶他州西南部的
*加州中東部的，分為歐文斯谷派尤特人（東部莫諾人）和西部莫諾人（莫納奇人）。
