內布拉斯加州共有93个县（含历史上曾存在的县）。根据2020年美国人口普查，內布拉斯加州共有1,961,504人，平均每个县拥有21,091人，其中道格拉斯縣以586,327人高居榜首，麥克弗森縣则仅有372人，是全州人口最少的县。平均每个县的面积为2,154平方公里。最大的是15,440平方公里的切里縣，最小的是620平方公里的薩皮縣。
在內布拉斯加州，不少縣如布朗縣、杜爾縣、迪克森和哈倫縣（哈倫縣的縣名來源具有爭議性）雖然紀念一些當地的早期定居者，但只有他們的姓氏流傳於世，而他們的首名及中間名已不可考。
