2011年歐洲U-21足球錦標賽（）是第18屆歐洲U-21足球錦標賽。在2008年12月10日，歐足聯宣布丹麥為本次比賽的舉辦地。

外圍賽由2009年3月至2010年10月期間舉行，分組賽決出14支隊伍，抽籤配對後經過主客兩回合附加賽決出7隊，聯同主辦國丹麥參加由2011年6月11日至25日舉行的決賽週。

挑選主辦國
只有丹麥及以色列申辦本屆賽事，於2008年6月15日提出正式申請，在同年6月及9月進行審查，並於10月向「國家隊競賽委員會」（National Team Competition Committee）提交報告。委員會在2008年11月27日對申辦進行討論，隨即向「歐洲足協執行委員會」（UEFA Executive Committee）提交建議，於12月10日落實由丹麥主辦決賽週賽事。

外圍賽
預選賽抽籤儀式在2009年2月4日舉行。丹麥自動進入決賽圈。其他的 52 隊被分為 10 組進行外圍賽初賽。

比賽場地
賽事舉行場地全部位於丹麥日德兰半岛的奧胡斯、奥尔堡、海寧和維堡的現成球場。

2010年9月20日賽會公佈決賽在（Aarhus Stadion）舉行，而（Aalborg Stadion）則用於揭幕戰和奧運參賽資格賽，而準決賽分別在（Herning Stadium）及（Viborg Stadion）進行。再者，主隊丹麥的賽事全部在奥尔堡和奧胡斯進行。

分組賽
2010年11月9日在丹麥奥尔堡舉行抽簽儀式。初賽將8隊分成兩組，每組4隊，每組進行循環賽，同組每隊對賽1次，勝方3分，賽和1分而落敗0分，分組賽首兩位球隊晉級準決賽。

奧運資格賽
這場賽事於英格蘭未能取得準決賽資格才會舉行，以決定第3支取得2012年夏季奧林匹克運動會足球比賽參賽資格的歐洲球隊。英格蘭以英國的名義作為主辦國已取得參賽資格。
